Joanne Wild is the Senior Manager of the Insolvency Department. She achieved a B.Eng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, and returned to the University upon graduation where she studied Law. She qualified as a Scottish Solicitor in 2006, and enrolled as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Gibraltar when she relocated in 2012.
Joanne initially entered private practice as a commercial lawyer, specialising in disputes. She represented PwC in many of our Court appointed liquidations/bankruptcies, and various international banks and insurers in contentious cases. Her advisory practice included regulatory matters, compliance issues and employment law.
Joanne joined us in 2017 and is primarily concerned with the insolvency portfolio, focusing on our cross border liquidations and high profile bankruptcies. She has particular interest in those cases arising from fraud, and has been involved in all aspects of global asset realisation/recovery including the actual recovery of moveable items and conducting physical searches of property. She also assists the Firm with internal, operational matters.
An avid music lover, Joanne spends much of her spare time at concerts, both locally and internationally.
