2018 Update

The claims were served by the Spanish authorities on LAP and Mr. Garcia in Spain on 9 April 2018.

However, on 11 May 2018, LAP and Mr. Garcia filed an application to challenge the jurisdiction and for the action to be set aside and dismissed and/or that the action be stayed in favour of Spanish Arbitration and/or the Spanish Courts.

The Supreme Court of Gibraltar thereafter heard the application in late 2018.
