PwC has the largest assurance practice in Gibraltar with an unrivalled list of clients.

We have our market share of key industries such as banking, insurance, investment management, funds and leisure, with an impressive list of clients including subsidiaries of quoted companies.

You will be an intrinsic part of this work and as a member of the assurance team will be providing a valuable service to our clients.

As a Trainee Accountant in our Assurance Department, you can expect to qualify as a Chartered or Certified Accountant within three to four years, depending on exemptions you receive for your degree, through the ACCA or ACA qualification. We will support your studies by providing study leave and meeting the financial obligations connected with your studies for all first attempts at the examinations.

Accountancy services

Our Accounting Department offers a wide range of accounting services.

Our aim is to provide our clients who range from multinational companies to smaller local retailers with a first class service by using our unrivalled skills and local knowledge and in the process helping their business grow by allowing them to focus on their core activities.

Although vital on-the-job training is provided as well regular in-house tailored training sessions, the firm strongly encourages professional studies towards relevant qualifications such as ACCA, ICAEW, and AAT and support is provided by meeting the cost of tuition and examinations as well as providing paid study leave.

Tax and payroll services

The tax and payroll department has unrivalled local knowledge and expertise that can promptly solve our clients queries or problems with its dedicated team of professionals on hand whenever they are needed.

With its large portfolio of local and international clients, the work is as varied as the partners we work with.  Expect to be challenged from the moment you join!

As a Trainee, you can expect to receive on the job training, alongside more formal training sessions relevant to your role.  The firm will support you by meeting the cost of tuition, examinations and paid study leave towards relevant qualifications such as the ACCA, ICAEW, AAT, ATT or the Professional Certificate of Competence in Gibraltar Tax.  Those who specialise in the payroll service function can also consider other qualifications such as CIPP.
